The Host movie will be available for digital download tomorrow, June 25th. It should be available to download on iTunes if not more places. The DVD is still set to release on July 9th.

Based on the book by author Stephenie Meyer, a parasitic alien soul is injected into the body of Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan). But, instead of carrying out her race’s mission of taking over the Earth, she forms a bond with her host and sets out to aid other free humans.
Bonus features include deleted scenes, “Bringing The Host To Life”, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, featuring interviews with Ms. Meyer, Saoirse, Max Irons, and Jake Abel and the “Seeker PSA”, a feature commentary with Ms. Meyer, screenwriter/director Andrew Niccol, and producer Nick Wechsler.
The Host hit shelves and digital retailers on July 9th!

The Host, starring Saiorse Ronan, Jake Abel, and Max Irons, hits theaters on Friday and TWIST has an exclusive premiere of a new TV spot for the movie! When TWIST sat down to chat with the cast on Tuesday, they shared that they had a great time filming the flick. “We were so lucky — we enjoyed it!” Jake shared. Watch the video clip below!

The Host, which opens this Friday, is poised to be the next Twilight. Though there are no vampires or werewolves in the flick, it’s based on a Stephenie Meyer novel and features a love-triangle with one adorable leading lady and two handsome dudes (who you’re sure to fall for immediately).
In the movie, Max Irons and Jake Abel both fall for Saoirse Ronan, who’s fighting back against an alien trying to take over her body—it’s all very Body Snatchers, but with a heavy dose of the drama you’d expect from the author who dreamt up Bella and Edward.
