2013 is poised to be, professionally-speaking, the biggest in Max Iron’s life!
Starting today, Max Irons begins wooing women across the globe in the hotly-anticipated cinematic adaptation of The Host, and this August, the dapper Brit stars in The White Queen, the latest fantastical, historical series from Starz.
The year is 1464 and war has been ravaging throughout England over who is the rightful King in a pre-Tudor land. It is a bitter dispute between two sides of the same family: The House of York and The House of Lancaster. Irons plays House of York’s young and handsome Edward IV, who is crowned King of England thanks to the help of master manipulator Lord Warwick, known as “The Kingmaker.”
But when Edward falls in love with a beautiful Lancastrian commoner, Warwick’s plan to control the throne comes crashing down. But the power struggles aren’t limited to the men seeking the throne — Elizabeth faces off with fierce adversaries, who are also vying for the companion crown.
ETonline couldn’t be more pleased to present the exclusive first look at Irons in action! Watch!
The White Queen premieres this August on Starz.
